This whole world of online office applications is an interesting one....and I suppose the question of "What do I do when I am not online" comes up all the time.

I suppose this is one of the things this tool suite answers...I am not sure.

Here is what their website says:

I don't know if you use Twitter, but I do...and a few of my friends too. It is pretty cool, though I am not convinced it is totally worth using.

It is a sort of "mini-BLOG"....where you type almost up to the minute entries of 140 characters or less.....

Anyways.....there are people who have access to Twitter BLOCKED at work...so they can't post or read twitter directly.

Well, reading can be done via RSS feed using something like Bloglines. Writing seemed harder, until NOW with TwitterMail!

Kristen will be off at school, but I post this here in case anyone else finds it interesting and decides to walk.

I personally like to simply support the local shelter in Nashua....but getting involved in these sort of walks is not only a way to raise money, but it can be fun.
(meeting other animal lovers and animals)

Here is what the website says about this walk:

The Annual MSPCA Walk for Animals is always a great way to support an important cause, but this year it’s better than ever. For the first time, animal lovers (and some of their favorite canines) in Boston, Brockton, Hyannis, Martha’s Vineyard and Springfield will be walking on the same day, at the same time, for the same reason: to promote kindness and care for animals.

The statewide 2007 MSPCA Walk for Animals will be held on September 9, 2007! The Walk for Animals will help raise vital funds to help the MSPCA-Angell care for over 250,000 homeless, injured and abused animals each year.

KIMBERLY'S TRIP TO COPENHAGAN:
Kimberly called me today with a question about whether I had received a packaged of information about here Copenhagan trip. I had not, and I didn't even know I was getting something like that sent to me. How was I supposed to know?

Well, in that package was all the information on where they meet and when. Not receiving it did NOT cause a red flag since I had no idea it was being sent....so Kim had to call and ask them to FEDEX it. We should receive it this Saturday...let's just hope it doesn't require something she does not already have.

KRISTEN NEEDS TO FIND HOUSING:
Kristen's transfer to University of Tennessee Knoxville seemed to be going along just fine until she called about her housing. It turns out that they do NOT have housing for her and she has to get an apartment on her own....which as had no plans to do.

Since we do NOT have any plans to do this, and since we don't have much time, our back is way against the wall. The school can't recommend places to live, nor can they find a spot for her. I'm a bit nervous about this, and I'm hoping to find a friend or relative who has some insight into the area and can at least tell us the good areas from the bad.

Anyone have any ideas?
